Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Gen Wealth Builder. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the product — and email support@genwealthbuilder.app if you have questions before deciding.

What Gen Wealth Builder is

A budgeting and savings-planning tool for individuals and small business owners. You track income and expenses, build a zero-based budget, fund a Buffer safety net, and set a Future Build savings goal. Everything is manual entry or CSV upload — there is no live bank connection in this version. The Investing 101 content unlocked once your Buffer is funded is plain-language education only.

Nothing in Gen Wealth Builder is licensed financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The Tax Set-Aside estimate is a simple percentage-of-net-income calculation for planning purposes, not a tax filing or a guarantee of what you'll owe. Confirm real decisions with a qualified professional.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for the accuracy of anything you enter, for keeping your password confidential, and for anything that happens under your account. One account per person; Business mode is for tracking a business you own or are authorized to manage, on the same account as your personal ledger.

Acceptable use

Use Gen Wealth Builder for its intended purpose. Don't try to break into other accounts, probe or attack our systems, scrape the service, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

Cost

Gen Wealth Builder is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll tell you clearly before anything is charged, and using the free tier will always remain an option as described at the time.

Your data

You own the data you enter. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: we don't sell it, we isolate it per account, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

No warranty

Gen Wealth Builder is provided "as is." We work carefully to keep the numbers accurate, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we're not liable for financial decisions you make based on it. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (currently zero, since the product is free).

Ending your account

You can stop using Gen Wealth Builder any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@genwealthbuilder.app. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, email account holders directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ghana, unless local consumer-protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
